Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey Can't Stop Macking on Each Other

Scarlett Johansson gave some lighthearted replies when she was asked about how she and queer "Jurassic World: Rebirth" co-star Jonathan Bailey keep kissing at red carpet events.

"The 40-year-old actress and 37-year-old actor recently made headlines after locking lips at their film's premiere in London on June 17," the New York Post recalled.

"On June 23, the two shared another kiss at 'Jurassic World Rebirth's' premiere in New York City, where Johansson's husband, 'Saturday Night Live' star Colin Jost, was in attendance," the writeup added.

The Post noted that during a June 25 appearance on "Today," Johansson found herself being quizzed over the kissing by Craig Melvin, who brought up "this kissing thing that you and Jonathan have been doing all over the world" and pointed out the handsome "Wicked" star's desirability.

"Yeah, you said it!" Johansson agreed wholeheartedly – to which the host followed up by asking if that might be the reason for Johansson's PDAs with the "Fellow Travelers" star.

"He's a lovable guy, what can I say?" the Post quoted Johansson saying. Then she added: "I don't know. It's just, uh... we're friendly people."

Friendly, and not willing to get too worried about the glare of media attention over a couple of friendly pecks.

That wasn't Johansson's only discussion of her red carpet kisses with Bailey on the show. On the same day's "Jenna & Friends" segment of the "Today" show, Johansson talked with Jenna Bush Hager (along with Maria Shriver, who was co-hosting on the talk show) on another June 25 segment. Johansson discussed an action scene from the film in which she pulls Bailey's character up on a rope. "He is as light as a feather," Johansson said, before agreeing that Bailey is "charismatic," and adding that her co-star is "so cute!"

"We know you love him," Bush Hager said, "because you get in there and smooch, and I just have to say, I was a little jealous!"

"I mean – that I was kissing him? Or he was kissing me?" Johansson asked.

"All of the above!" Bush Hager exclaimed.

Bailey, asked about the love fest separately, was just as nonchalant. "I believe in being able to show love in all different ways," he told Entertainment Tonight, the Post relayed.

"And if you can't kiss your friends..." Bailey went on to say, letting that sentence dangle. "Life's too short not to."
