A new album is on the way from Sean Mendes this autumn, along with a scattering of "intimate" shows planned for a brief tour.

The self-titled disc, "Shawn," will contain twelve new tracks and is slated to drop in October, the singer-songwriter revealed at this Instagram. In addition to the cover art, he shared the track listing, which includes titles like "That's the Dream," "In Between," and "Rollin' Right Along."

Moreover, Variety notes, Mendes is "putting out two singles – 'Why Why Why' and 'Isn't That Enough' – on his birthday, August 8."

Added the entertainment news outlet: "To accompany the announcement, Mendes released 'Isn't That Enough' as an album trailer."

"Music really can be medicine," Mendes captioned the video for "Isn't That Enough."

"2 years ago I felt like I had absolutely no idea who I was," Mendes added. "A year ago I couldn't step into a studio without falling into complete panic. So to be here right now with 12 beautiful finished songs feels like such a gift."

Mendes went on to shout to to his friends, family, and fans,

"All of my Friends and Family, thank you for loving on me so hard ♥️" the singer posted. "And to you guys who have been so unbelievably supportive and patient and loving thank you from the bottom of my heart. I really hope you love this album, I do.

"I really really do."

Mendes also teased "Why Why Why" in a post.

"As of now, the viral Vine-star-turned Grammy-winner will only make a handful of stops on his 'Shawn' trek around the states in the fall," the New York Post detailed, "including gigs in Woodstock's Bearsville Theatre on Aug. 8 and Brooklyn's Paramount Theater on Oct. 18 – before jetting off for some festival appearances in the international arena."

Added the Post: "His upcoming shows have been described as 'intimate' as he gets back into the swing of things, and it wouldn't surprise us if he plays his new album from top to bottom."

Indeed, the singer announced in a separate post that he will be playing the new album live "from top to bottom" in a few shows in select cities.

Mendes called out a few of the planned stops on the tour in a trio of posts>
