'Heartstopper' Star Kit Connor Shows Off New Buzzed Haircut

"Heartstopper" star Kit Connor has a buzzy new look after getting his locks shorn super-short.

"The actor said goodbye to his signature floppy, '90s-inspired cut in favor of a short, classic buzz and shared a pic on Instagram," Teen Vogue relayed.

"I kinda like it," the actor shared in the post.

He wasn't alone; Pop Tingz posted a pic of Connor's new look on X (formerly Twitter), declaring, "Kit Connor looks great in new haircut."

Fan reaction was mixed, with some going all in on the new cut and others voicing skepticism.

"Well I don't know about great," one person replied in the comments, "but he sure looks like he got a hair cut".

Echoed another: "define great".

"i'm glad he cut it," a fan, who was more enthusiastic about the new 'do, posted. "The bowl haircut look is kind of outdated and it makes him look too much like a jock, even though I know that's what he's supposed to be."

Nick, Connor's character in the global smash hit, is a popular high school athlete. When he falls in love with out gay classmate Charlie (Joe Locke), Nick gradually comes to terms with his bisexuality while becoming close with Charlie's circle of friends, who span the spectrum of human sexuality.

The show's third season is due to premiere on Netflix this coming October. The young cast will be joined by several veteran actors in new roles, including out "Bridgerton" and "Fellow Travelers" star Jonathan Bailey, who will make a "cameo appearance as Jack Maddox, an Instagram-famous classicist and celebrity crush of Charlie," according to a Netflix release.
