Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and Victoria Monét were among those honored at Variety's seventh annual Hitmakers celebration in Los Angeles, Saturday.

The event celebrates the year in music and recognizes the writers, producers, publishers, managers, and executives who helped make the 25 most-consumed songs of the year.

The recipient of the Triple Threat award, Monét reflected on her career only now taking off, after years of hard work.

"I had to exercise a lot of patience and so now I feel like I appreciate everything so much more because I had to wait for it in the wings a lot of the time."

Producer Mark Ronson was honored for Soundtrack of the Year for curating the "Barbie" soundtrack.

Talking about writing fan-favorite track "I'm Just Ken", Ronson said; "Obviously picturing Ryan Gosling saying these words, you're sort of inspired just imagining him as Ken."

Eilish was honored along with Finneas for their work on "Barbie" song "What Was I Made For?"

Rodrigo was honored as Storyteller of the Year and Carpenter was named Rising Star.

Other honorees included boygenius, named Group of the Year, SZA who won Hitmaker of the Year and Maren Morris named Changemaker of the Year.
