Last week, the New York Times published an article about the renaissance of the mustache and how the sexy trend has been ballooning in popularity over the last few years.

"The mustache," it article states, is "capable of evoking everything from rugged masculinity to whimsical irony to earnest fatherly cheer. Once the domain of the creeper, porn star, countercultural icon, or out-of-fashion uncle, the mustache is becoming just another option for facial hair." The pandemic may have exacerbated the trend, but there's no denying the moment where suddenly mustaches were looked at as drop-dead sexy by an even wider swath of the population: The release of "Top Gun: Maverick" last May. One look at Miles Teller, mustached and shirtless and dancing on the beach, caused people to wonder how they or their significant others would look with a little facial hair.
