Katy Perry is making a return!

The pop star took to social media Thursday to reveal that her fifth album is called "Smile" and will be out on August 14. Her new single, the title track, will be out on Friday.

Perry shared a snippet of the new song, along with the circus-and-clown-themed album cover. On Instagram she captioned the post: "I wrote the title track from the album when I was coming through one of the darkest periods of my life and had lost my smile. This whole album is my journey towards the light - with stories of resilience, hope, and love. Listen to the song at midnight local time Friday, July 10."

The new song follows Perry's single "Daisies," which recently got a "Can't Cancel Pride" remix, which includes a mashup of a number of her hits. Additionally, two of her 2019 singles — "Never Really Over" and "Harleys in Hawaii" — will appear on "Smile."
