EDGE is reaching into its archive and sharing some of our favorite stories from the past.

Timothée Chalamet has a project to promote, which means he is back to stealing attention on red carpets wherever he can. The 26-year-old Oscar-nominated actor recently landed at the 2022 Venice Film Festival in Italy for the premiere of his new film "Bones and All." But per usual, the attention was all on his fit.

As reported by Just Jared, Chalamet wore a custom fit designed by Haider Ackermann in a blood red color for the Friday night event. He was joined by co-stars Taylor Russell, Chloe Sevigny, and Mark Rylance, as well as director Luca Guadagnino.

Chalamet's outfit was complicated in the front but backless in the back, which marked a major style departure for the star. But he expertly pulled it off according to GQ.

"Even with the premiere now in the rearview, we have a feeling this won't be the only wild TC outfit we get from Venice," GQ writes. "Keep an eye out."

We are!

The film v is based on the novel of the same name by Camille DeAngelis. It tells the story of a woman who embarks on a cross-country road trip to find her father, a man she's never met. The twist? She is trying to understand why she has the urge to kill and eat the people that love her.

And now Chalamet's blood red ensemble suddenly makes so much more sense.
