EDGE is reaching into its archive and sharing some of our favorite stories from the past.

"Heartstopper" star Kit Connor is done with Twitter, or so he says, after being accused of "queer-baiting."

As reported by Metro Co UK, Connor posted that he was "bored" of the "silly app" and announced that he was deleting his account.

To be clear, Connor's Twitter account is still live, but he hasn't logged back in since making the announcement. Meantime, Eagle-eyed fans began piecing together why he might be taking a break from the bird app.

As one user shared, there has been a video circling around social media showing Connor holding hands with an actress. "People are accusing him of queer-baiting again because there's an 11-second vid of him and ('Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin' actress) Maia Reficco walking down a street in Paris holding hands," they said. The pair are reportedly co-starring in a movie together.

Because Connor plays a bisexual character on the show and talks about identifying with the character, some fans are calling foul on his alleged sexuality in real-life.

Addressing rumors about his sexuality, Connor shared:

"Twitter is so funny, man. apparently some people on here know my sexuality better than I do."

In "Heartstopper" Connor plays Nick, the object of Charlie Spring's (Joe Locke) affection. The pair try to maintain a relationship while grappling with their sexuality and balancing school and family drama. The series was renewed for two more seasons in May.

Fans of "Heartstopper" have called on Connor to "address" his sexuality so everyone can "move on." With the recently-announced news that he is stepping away from Twitter, mum's still the word.
